After a wonderful Christmas receiving musical gifts (mmm...Janelle Monáe), I figured I should share something with anyone who'd listen.

Jaydiohead is the brainchild of New York DJ Max Tannone (formerly Minty Fresh Beats), released in 2009. He picks up where every bedroom turntable-nerd has fallen by the wayside, creating fresh mashups with real production values. On his site Tannone expressed a desire to "create something that sounds organic, trying to imagine them in a recording studio together"; in this collection he smashes his M.O, especially on:
